"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." - Psalm 46:10

For some years already we have been studying the Feasts of the Lord and have found them fascinating and Prophetic Biblically and Hebrew Alphabet which is full of numerical symbolism and plays a lot on the meaning of words. Prophetic destinies often have ties to the meaning or play on a meaning of a name – for example in Genesis 49:19 when Jacob blessed his sons and Gad had a very interesting play on his name. If we read this Scripture in Hebrew it means "luck or fortune."

We are in the Decade (5780-5789) of "Peh" (80) – Mouth and year of "Aleph" (1) – Ox Head… "Peh" (also written "Pey") means "mouth" so what comes out of it or what comes in will determine the outcome! What we say, proclaim or even consume will be important. God’s Word is like "meat" and from the "Ox" we will get our strength! The 5780 DECADE which is about our mouths and what we should speak! "Aleph" is the "first" (number 1) Hebrew number to tell us what to say! "Aleph" relates to SILENCE and Hebrew meaning; master, ultimate strength, leader, teacher, wonderous! "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." – Exodus 14:14.

Let’s look back first…. 5780 (2019/20) has been one that will NOT easily be forgotten and a year that literally turned ALL our worlds up-side-down! The Hebrew Calendar Year 5780 "PEH" began the 1^st year of the next decade of "Peh" and "Feh," a picture symbol of "a MOUTH" and is the symbol for this next DECADE.  "Peh" meaning "mouth" - used in word, expression, vocalization, speech, and breath" had several significant Prophetic emphases for the year 5780.

While the "PEH decade" or next 10-years will see much unfold …and many new things NOT yet even seen! This is going to be a period being characterised by declarations, prophecy, and Prophetic intercession that will emerge as a great force in the Church for the Kingdom of God. There is a "grace" from God for the actions involving His spoken Word. Expect to see new, bold voices of authority emerge during this period - across the Church, businesses, political, and community realms. We will need God’s wisdom to discern the voices of "good" and that of "evil!" The outstretched hand seeking God’s helping Hand - will become strong!

Now is the time for the Church to arise and true believers to raise their voices declaring the truths of God and His Word. It is a time for prayers as NEVER before as Satan will NOT give in easily! We MUST especially watch for those things that WILL emerge in 5781 (2021)! What we have already witnessed these past months is but only the beginning of things that will either rise or fall, prosper and/or change this new decade in different ways. This is the year of "Aleph" the Father’s voice! God is birthing NEW things and which is now emerging through unusual or new partnerships with creative ideas that Churches and many believers obtained during the COVID-19 Lockdowns and are now becoming evident. 5781 is the beginning of a new Era that had begun in 5780 …and even though darkness seeks to counter God’s light it will Not prevail!

Let’s take a brief look back at the LAST Biblical Year 5780 (2020) - the pictorial numerical for that year; "Ayin - Peh" eyes/mouth – seeing/speaking (or silent). Rabbi’s in Israel say that 5780 was the Year of a "heavenly decree!" They say it was a decree from God – a general decree and a worldwide decree! Nobody could escape it. Nobody comes into Israel and nobody could leave Israel. It was a worldwide decree that NOT only affected Israel, BUT ALL the nations! Nobody or NO leader of a country on the face of the earth could or would have been able to shut the borders of every country across the world simultaneously and place its people in a complete lockdown over Pessach (Feast of Passover) for first time in 3,500 years - nor over Shavuot (Pentecost) and now again in Israel for 3 weeks over Sukkot (Feast of Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles) - only God can! This was historical and unprecedented as God literally closed everything and countries were like a cocoon …or like a baby in the womb and a woman about to give birth! The earth was birthing a New Messianic Era as God was/is cleansing the world for the Coming of the Messiah!" God literally gave the world a "sabbatical rest" and a season to prepare for what is coming!

It was clearly a year of NEW beginnings, unknowns and “looking” on in “silence almost as if people around the world were gasping for air!” We saw Synagogues in Israel and Churches around the world closed – under a mandatory LOCKDOWN with everyone compelled to wear a mask - “mouths” closed and speech silenced! The world fell into FEAR of an invisible enemy and just as social distancing was made compulsory people feared one another. It was exaggerated by the Liberal Media causing panic and FEAR. Sadly, many families were separated and travel bans were instituted – Local and International.

God exposed (and still is exposing) ALL wickedness of corrupt Draconian Governmental Laws in many countries (such as South Africa). House cleaning done! Everyone ALL over the world had to painfully endure a cleansing process! People have to use hand sanitizers and wash their hands repeatedly as well as wear masks and social distance! Whilst buildings, offices, stores, schools, churches, streets etc. were sanitised and cleansed from contamination of an invisible COVID-19 Chinese Virus! This cleansing was OUTWARDLY! Whilst this was taking place, God was/is cleansing nations INWARDLY - exposing unrighteousness embedded in the wickedness of the deep hatred of radical Liberalism, Socialism - together with their cohorts Media, Hollywood, as well as Islamists, so-called Elites, sports idols, Academia. The godless openly REBELLED against God to have Him removed from Society and at the same time the Church persecuted. BUT God stepped in and exposed their evil, deception, abortionists and child abuse, paedophilia, sexual immorality and corruption etc., in highest levels of governments …and nothing remained uncovered!

Did you know that our Gregorian Calendar that works off the sun - does NOT reflect God’s Biblical Hebrew Calendar Year which works off the moon …and neither does the Gregorian Calendar know God’s timing? Through the Biblical Hebrew Calendar, we are seeing a NEW move of God. And yes, God’s is doing cleansing! God is speaking to the earth and preparing the people for a NEW season and we must listen carefully as He is speaking loudly! There is much unrest in America and around the world because of man’s rebellious hearts …and its manifesting through lawlessness taking place. Are you seeing it too? God took action against the wicked and all-the-while the Church also is getting a shaking! God is warning us and He is with us and He is speaking! Watch – listen – watch what we speak this coming year!

Interesting fact… Firstly, we do NOT believe in Zodiac signs! We choose to focus only on the study God’s Word – the Bible, Biblical Years and the Feasts of the Lord. However, in February 2020 it just so happened to be Communist China’s Zodiac Year of the “RAT!” There are NO coincidences with God! Their year of the rat truly showed the world that the Communist Chinese Government were rats deliberately spreading their Covid-19 (Corona) Virus from their City of Wuhan China! They knowingly began spreading the virus into the world already way back in 2019 and to make matters worse they had the help of the World Health Org. (WHO) that helped to cover-up literally a “crime against humanity!” Yet they are NOT being held liable by man but we as believers take comfort that our God Yahweh is a Holy God, Self-sufficient and Eternal – the “Aleph and Tav” – “Alpha and Omega” and is on our side. God is NOT dependent upon us but rather we are dependent upon Him! Even the most powerful human on the face of the earth is still at the mercy of His health and fortune. God sees everything and so China, the WHO and their evil cohorts’ agendas; "These things you have done, and I (GOD) have been silent; you thought that I was one like yourself. But now I rebuke you and lay the charge before you" – Psalm 50:21.

The NEW Biblical Hebrew Year 5781 which began on Rosh Hashanah coincides with our Gregorian Calendar years 2020/2021; “Peh” represents number 80 and “Aleph” number 1 is pictured as an “OX.” (Psalm 8:8; Proverbs 14:4) But, did you know that the Chinese Zodiac New Year that begins in February 2021 is on their calendar to be represented by an “OX?” This does NOT just happen as it is their 9^th Calendar Year! Contrary to the Hebrew Calendar which is based upon the Hebrew Alphabet - Biblically and represented by numbers! We MUST watch and pray as we could truly see Communist China pushing for a world power against the West, Israel and the Church! Ox against Ox? Or could we be the generation seeing the rise of the “kings of the East?” (Revelation 16:12) The Bible predicts that the preparations for the attack of China upon the Middle East and Israel involve a combination of human and angelic events. 

The Hebrew 5781 (Strong’s = to be pressed, crushed, straightened. “Now then, I (God) will crush you (pressed) as a cart crushes when loaded with grain. The swift will NOT escape, the strong will not muster their strength, and the warrior will not save his life. The archer will not stand his ground, the first footed soldier will not get away, the fleet-footed soldiers will not get away, and the horseman will not save his life. Even the bravest warriors will flee naked on that day, declares the Lord.” - Amos 2:13-18. 5781 (2021) could also possibly be the Hebrew Year where we could see the start of the “time of Jacob’s Trouble?” You may say “…but peace is today happening in Israel and the Middle East?” But what about Scripture; “While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labour pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.’ – 1 Thessalonians 5:3.

Rosh HaShanah / Feast of Trumpets 5781 is a continuation of 2020 and into 2021… The 1^st day of the New Hebrew Year or “1^st day of the head of the New Year” …and in addition to being the Day of Judgment, is also “Rosh Chodesh,” the 1^st day of the Biblical month - Tishrei. It is said that when the king visits a city together with his ministers, all the attention is given to the king. It would be dis-respectful to the king if we diverted our attention from the king and gave special attention to his ministers while in the king’s presence. In the same way Rosh HaShanah is the day when we crown God as King of the universe. “David said to Jonathan, ‘Behold, tomorrow is the new moon, and I should not fail to sit at table with the king.  But let me go, that I may hide myself in the field till the third day at evening.’…  So, David hid in the field, and when the New Moon feast came, the king sat down to eat.” - 1 Samuel 20:5, 24. On “Rosh Chodesh” Israeli’s pay special tribute to the re-appearance of the new moon! Thus, it is not befitting that on the day when we accept and recognize God as King of the universe to also focus on one of His subjects and pay tribute to the re-appearance of the moon and so in Israel everything is to God first! The moon is important on the Feast of Trumpets! (Numbers 10:10)

Aleph is characterized by strength and leadership just as the “Ox” is strong… But is also characterized by its sound, which is “completely silent.”  Right now, we are in the times where strong silence in the mouth is a crown of truth in the Divine Will of the Father. This year is 5781 in the Hebrew Calendar; 7 for 300+400 which is the letters “Shin” (Crown) + “Tav” (Truth), and 8 for 80 which is the letter “Peh” (Mouth), and 1 which is the letter “Aleph” (Ox). The letter 5 is for 5×1,000 which is actually also “Aleph” as it also represents the number 1,000. In Hebrew, the years are said with focus on only the Century, Decade, and Year because it is redundant to lack understanding of the times one lives in according to the Millenniums …which each have their own significance. What “sound” is heard more loudly in Scripture than when our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) the Lamb was slain upon the cross? It is in our weakness that the Lamb is made strong like the “OX.” The silence of the Cross is the sound of Heaven heard round the world. Think about this even Abel’s blood cried out and God heard it!

To understand the meaning of Aleph then we must look at it in the context of the decade it is in; “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God.” - John 1:1. In the beginning there was silence, that great silence in which the Word was begotten, the Word through whom everything came into existence. Silence! Yeshua (Jesus) says of Himself; “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” - Revelation 22:13. The first letter of the Hebrew alphabet is a Godly number as it relates to God. “Aleph corresponds with “Alpha” and Tav” corresponds with “Omega.” “Aleph” is soundless - silent, suggesting that Yeshua (Jesus) is the silence in the Eternal beginning before being the Spoken Word that gave birth to the creation; “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And God said…” - Genesis 1:1-3. The name for Adam the first human being also begins with an “Aleph” and thus stands for God and man …and the “oneness” of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit! God has also chosen ONE nation – Israel from the earth to display His power, send forth His Word and bring Salvation through His Son - Yeshua (Jesus)! The “oneness” of God (Deuteronomy; 6:4 Revelation 1:8) is UNIQUE and not just a number. So, the basic meaning of the “Aleph” is an infinite God! However, God is today relating to a finite world especially man in rebellion against Him just as in the Days of Noah and Sodom!

The Lord Yeshua our “Aleph and Tav” – the “Alpha and Omega” …the beginning and the End! Rabbi Dov Ber, the Maggid of Mezritch, explained the first words of Torah; “Bereshit Bara Elohim et” – “In the beginning God created ‘Et’” (Genesis 1:1) and “et” is an untranslatable word used to indicate that “a definite direct object is next” so there needs to be an “et” before the heavens and the earth. He also points out that “et” is spelt “Aleph-Tav” an abbreviation for the “Aleph-Bet.”  In short, “Aleph” is “the Father” and is completely silent as with the first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. And, “Tav” the last, so, he reasoned, that in the beginning; God created the “Aleph-Bet” …and since God did this before creating the heavens and the earth - the letters are considered to be the primordial “building blocks” of all creation. Christians understand this as the thoughts of the Father made manifest in the Word of the Son. Thought proceeds before words are spoken, occurring in unity. The Rabbi’s state that; “…if the Hebrew Letters were to depart even for an instant, then all of creation would become an absolute of “nothingness.” The Son cannot depart from the Father NOR the Father from the Son. Just as our thoughts and words are conjoined …but when they are NOT in alignment there is discord, disharmony, disagreement and chaos.

There is a Rabbinic story about this Hebrew letter “Aleph” and the story goes like this; “God was asking all the Hebrew letters of the Alphabet; “which one should be first?” And they all spoke up and gave their reasons why – BUT Aleph didn’t say anything at all! So, God asked Aleph; “Why are you quiet?” And, Aleph explained “I am solid!” Then God made Aleph the first letter off the Alphabet Yes, it’s just a joke but it is when people are promoting themselves – there is noise and we take care of it but when God promotes, He takes care of it! The silent Hebrew letter “Aleph” connects to the character and nature of God Himself.

“Aleph” is tied with God and teaches us that our “mouths” should speak first of God. Many names of God begin with Aleph; Elohim – EL; EL Elyon (The Lord Most High); Adonai (Lord); Adir (Glorious); Aluph (Lord); EL Olam (the Everlasting God); “I am who I will be!” – each word begins with Aleph i.e.: A…A…A); Abba Father. In Hebrew there are so many Names for God because in Israel they speak so much of Him. This new year we believe God wants us to talk more about Him and share Him to others too.

Now look at the letter of “Aleph” closely - it has two hands… 

The “Aleph” is inter-linked with God’s master plan and is made up of three small letters …and when we add their numerical value; YOD (10) + VAV (6) + YOD (10) = YHVH (Yahweh). Two hands; God represents the upper “Yod” reaching from above and man represents the lower “Yod” reaching from below up to God …but the two are separated by a VAV …and is also joined together by a VAV = a nail / God’s Word …and VAV could also mean a human being …the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus)! Here you see God wants man restored to Himself!

How is the Aleph connected to the Lord’s return? The “Aleph” is used in the word “acharon” meaning “Last Days!” In 2 Peter 3:4-9 some ask with doubts in their mouths about the Lord’s return…. i.e. “when is He returning…?” In verses 8-9 we see that 1 day is as 1,000 years for the Lord and a 1,000 as 1 day. You see the “Aleph” being number 1 is also 1,000. It is the same and has “cause and effect” …because everything starts from 1 and then increases and multiplies. A good example - did you know that all computers are actually based on a process of 0 and 1? So, number 1 “Aleph” also represents the “beginning” of all earthly action as it has all “cause and effect” leading to outcome since “0” is a nothingness - but “1” a beginning. For example; Genesis 1:1-2; “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless (void) and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”

During 5780 (2019/20) we saw the earth under total lockdown, skies empty of air travel a sense of emptiness! And, everything man held so dearly a “darkness” filled an unimaginable void and chaos, wickedness as lawlessness descended into riots and man’s evil hearts exposed. Where was God in this? God was still with us and still in control. Did you know that Biblical Hebrew doesn’t have a representation for number zero or “0”? The closest words for “0” would be “no” or “nothing; in English, we typically think of “zero” as nothing …but in Hebrew “no” is “lo”, and is spelled “lamed + aleph” and if reversing these two letters “aleph + lamed” …it would spell “EL” for God. Thus, zero indicates what is hidden or unknowable or uncertain and can also represent what is Eternal and limitless or something that has great potential, and it also signifies something uncountable such as the Mighty God – Elohim. Although “zero” doesn’t have a value by itself but when placed behind another number it multiples or elevates the quantity; i.e.1+ 0 = 10; 10 + 0 = 100 etc.

The Lord is NOT slack concerning His Promises as some count slackness, but is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish – but should come to repentance. One “Aleph” is like a thousand (“eleph”) easily mistaken for the other. In other words, over all previous generations they thought the Lord’s Return was near …but it was NOT yet! We think Yeshua’s return is far off – but I fact it’s around the corner! How do we know that our generation is special? People before 1948 could NOT see how Israel would be back in the land but only trusted according to God’s Promise that it would happen someday! You see this generation witnessed the “Fig Tree Blossom” according to Matthew 24:32-34 and Luke 21:29-33; “And he told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree (Israel), and all the trees (nations); as soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves and know that the summer is already near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.”

Now Let’s look back to 14^th Century - 600 years ago … a Prophecy of Rabbi Netanel Ben Yeshaya a Yemenite Rabbi who wrote about the year 5781 in his book called; "From the Light of Darkness"….It was a commentary on the Torah, about events occurring in the year that ends 5780 …and about the year that begins in 5781! Here’s an extract as follows; "As is well known, as stated in the dream of the Prophet Daniel, the fourth kingdom is the kingdom of Edom (Daniel 2) and it ends in the year 5780. Then, it seems that the rule of the nine months will begin, as stated in the Gemara. And then afterwards, (it will be) the time of redemption and the kingdom of heaven forever, amen."

Who is this Edom? At this last great End-Time battle against Antichrist and his forces …every believer will be fighting side by side with Israel under their Commanding General the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. (Revelation 19: 7-8, 14) At His command and the sound of the trumpet blast the armies of Heaven will launch their final assault on the kingdom of Antichrist. (Revelation 19:15) The mighty ‘boulder’ of God’s Kingdom will smash all of those world empires arrayed against the Messiah and then that ‘Boulder’ of God’s Kingdom will fill the whole earth. (Daniel 2:32-35, 44-45) The Antichrist will come to his end at Jerusalem. (Daniel 11:45) After that the saints will inherit the earth and Israel as a nation will "possess her possessions."

Another Prophecy is of one of the most well-respected leaders of the Jewish people around 200 years ago, the Chatam Sofer wrote… in his commentary on Parshat Bechukotai that; "The year 5780 (2020) will be a very hard year, but the year 5781 (2021) will be a year when the poor man is raised up from the garbage! He also said that the year 5780 would be a satanic year, and that the year 5781 would be "the year of the Mashiach (Messiah)!" Lastly, Six Years ago Rav Berland, shlita, said about this then; "We are now preparing in this Yom Kippur of 5776 in preparation for Yom Kippur a day of Salvation of 5781 (27^th – 28^th September, 2020) when there will be a day for relief for 5781 and so WILL the true salvation to Israel, which Daniel prophesized 2,300 years ago - which will end in 5781 - the year of Israel’s salvation. Rabbi’s also believe that 5781 (Sept 2020 - 2021) will be a good year!

For this NEW Year 5781 (2020/1) we believe new beginnings have come! Did you know ...? That the Hebrew Year 5781 - since all numbers can be written with letters that number is Aleph - Peh - Shin -Tav  which spells out; " You WILL be amazed!" And, its God’s NEW beginnings PREPARING His Church to be ready for His Kingdom and NOT man’s! Look again at DAY 1 of Creation as we read in Genesis 1 that light is separated from darkness and instead of indicating division it is separation that demonstrates the set-apartness of God and His Light from the "darkness" and just so He is separating His Church from the "darkness" of this world today. The first day is called "tov" or "good" and the first day of creation is called "One Day" rather than the "first day," insinuating the wholeness and perfection of the day …and a Prophetic future return to Yom Echad (One Day). In other words, the 1^st day of creation is described with the cardinal number "one" in Hebrew; whereas, the remaining days are described with ordinal numbers. When Israeli’s PRAY "the Shema" (Deuteronomy; 6:4) it affirms God’s authority over heaven and earth. He is the "Eternal One" and the Source of all creation. One Day is a return to the beginning, a return to Eden. (Isaiah 46:10; Revelation 21: 6; 22:13); One Day, there will be a restoration of all things. (Acts 3:21); One Day, God will be all in all. (1 Corinthians 15:28); One Day, every tear will be wiped away. (Revelation 7:17); One Day, YHWH – God will dwell permanently among men. (Revelation 21:3) and One Day there will NO more death, NO more sorrow, NO more pain! (Revelation 21:4)

God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the nations are treating His people – Israel. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them! This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the Church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised nation continually turning away from God BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that nation. The despised element is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that despised nation; like Israel… He Himself was; "despised and rejected by men," …and there is that despised element; "…things that are despised God has chosen," 1 Corinthians 1:28. Now, more than at any time is the time to support Israel and the Jewish people - the Lord’s Brethren! We are witnessing the nations and people turning their backs on Israel. With "lockdown" and difficult "recovery" still lying ahead we ARE reminded that the Wuhan Corona Virus has caused many dire needs and continue to increase here in Israel upon the already most vulnerable!
